Approved English Language Tests for UK Visas
We are a City & Guilds registered test centre and accredited by a UK Home Office (UK Visas & Immigration) approved centre to conduct English Language Tests for UK Spouse Visas, Tier 1 and Tier 2 and Indefinite Leave to Remain / British Citizenship applicants.
We are one of the very few Law firms in the UK that provide Approved English Tests in addition to our UK Immigration Services.
We provide English Language tests at the following levels:
- A1 Level Tests for UK Spouse/ Fiancée Visa Applications (This applies to spouses, civil partnerships, unmarried couples, same sex partners and fiancés and includes those applying from within the UK, as well as from overseas)
- B1 Level Tests for UK Student Visa Applications, Permanent Residency (ILR), British Citizenship Applications & UK Entrepreneur Visa Applications
- B2 Level Tests for all UK Tier 2 Visa Applications (Work Permits)
All non-Europeans will have to show that their command of English is good enough to cope with everyday life before being granted a visa.
Important: In order to qualify for ILR & British Citizenship clients must pass the B1 level English Test in addition to the Life in the UK test.
You will need to meet the requirement if:
- You are a national of a country outside the European Economic Area and Switzerland; and
- You are in a relationship with a British citizen or a person settled here; and
- You want to apply to enter or remain in the UK as that person’s husband, wife, civil partner, fiancé(e), proposed civil partner, unmarried partner, same-sex partner or
- As an Entrepreneur Visa Applicant or
- Applying for Indefinite Leave to Remain (Permanent Residency) and British Citizenship
